Introducing Propertybot, powered by Twitter Real Estate Search Leader TweetLister.com.

New York – TweetLister, a leader in providing professional-level real estate listings management on Twitter, is proud to introduce Propertybot – a fast, free, convenient service that lets property seekers search more than 1.5 million properties worldwide right from Twitter. Whether users are on the go or at their desktops, they can send a simple Twitter Direct Message with the location, size and/or property type, and receive their listings back almost immediately.

Here’s how it works: Log into Twitter on your desktop, or on a smartphone app. Go to the Propertybot page at http://www.twitter.com/propertybot. Select “Follow”, so that you are in the Propertybot user system. Then start a new tweet with @Propertybot and any of a wide selection of criteria (a complete list is on our Help page, listed below).

For example, if you tweet this…

@Propertybot “Lynbrook, NY” House For Sale $300K-$400K

… you’ll receive a Direct Message back with a link to view all of your listings.

Propertybot is perfect for anyone searching for residential or commercial real estate, particularly those on the go or already in their car looking at properties. It brings the listings straight to you, and requires virtually no time or effort.

“Propertybot is further proof that real estate and Twitter are a perfect match,” said TweetLister Partner Lloyd Chrein. “It marries the immediate response and easy-to-use nature of Twitter, and the instant, no nonesense results that property buyers demand.”

For a complete list of commands, see the Propertybot help page at http://tweetlister.com/propertybot.aspx.

Propertybot also makes it easy to get answers to common questions. Just tweet “@Propertybot help” and you’ll get a link to a page listing all the commands. Users can also rely on the fast customer service that is one of TweetLister’s trademarks.

TweetLister Real Estate LLC is a privately held company, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of TweetLister Holdings LLC. TweetLister was created and is operated by a team of web veterans who have worked together for more than a decade creating websites and web-based tools for real estate companies of all kinds. With the continued, meteoric growth of Twitter, and the tremendous potential it offers for reaching millions of people quickly and easily, the company has grown rapidly and continues to expand its capabilities and services. Our mission is to provide excellent service to our valued users, and to continue to provide useful additions and upgrades both short- and long-term.

Real estate agents and brokers are among the most dynamic and creative entrepreneurs you’ll find. We see this every day here at TweetLister, where our broker and agent members from all over the world contact us with amazing suggestions for new features, and ideas for using our service that honestly never crossed our minds.

One came in the other day from a For Sale by Owner (FSBO) consultant, who wanted to add value to his services by putting TweetLister into the mix. With a TweetLister Broker/Office account, his plan was to add his client’s FSBO listings into the account and post them to his own Twitter account, and in some cases to his clients’ individual Twitter accounts.

Here’s what he did:

He set up a new Twitter account just for FSBO’s in his area. The account featured a background image with his information describing his services for FSBO’s. The intention was two-fold: to showcase his clients’ listings, and to highlight the services he provides.

He added the listings to his TweetLister account, and scheduled them to post every other day at varying times of day. This way, his account and his clients’ accounts were not displaying only listings each day.

He also tweeted informational updates and ideas to his own Twitter account, and encouraged his clients to do the same, so that each Twitter timeline displayed a useful combination of information and listings.

The result was a value-added tool, where the consultant could engage his clients in proactive marketing of their properties — getting them directly involved in an exciting online sales effort.

Stay tuned to this blog for more useful creative ideas – straight from your colleagues and competitors who are using TweetLister at http://www.tweetlister.com to proactively market their properties online.

With TweetLister Professional, you can post listings to different Twitter accounts. You can have separate Twitter accounts to post listings for different geographic areas, or for different types of properties. For example, a realtor who covers three different towns — Smithville, Jonesburg and Warrentown — can have three separate Twitter accounts: http://www.twitter.com/Smithville (not an actual account), and so on. Or, you can have listings priced under $250,000 tweet to http://www.twitter.com/JonesburgUnder250K, and the rest tweet to http://www.twitter.com/JonesburgOver250K. Brokers who handle residential and commercial listings can have these tweet to http://www.twitter.com/WarrentownHomes and http://www.twitter.com/WarrentownCommercial.

Why bother having separate Twitter accounts? The are compelling reasons:

Your Listings Are Even Easier to Find in a Search. When people search under Find People on Twitter, 0r using any of the many “autofollow” tools available online, the results are based in part on keywords found in your “user name” and “real name” for your account. If you use separate accounts for different types of listings, you can use relevant keywords as your username or real name, so people have a better chance of finding your listings.

People Can Follow Specific Listings. On Twitter, people choose to “follow” other people follow those twitter accounts, or you can send people to those accounts, to see only the listings that interest them. If you are posting specific listings to an account – and also discussing topics relevant to those types of listings, or to a specific town or region – people will be more likely to follow you, and to pay attention to what you post.

Creating Multiple Twitter Accounts
The first step is to create a new account on Twitter. This is free, at http://www.twitter.com, and can be done by clicking on the Sign Up Now button that you will see on Twitter’s home page. Please note: if you forget your Twitter login information, or if you need to change your Twitter password, you must do this through Twitter.com; you cannot make changes to your Twitter account through TweetLister, and TweetLister cannot offer customer support for Twitter accounts.

Posting Listings to Separate Twitter Accounts
Once you have set up one or more Twitter accounts, return to your TweetLister control panel and click on Manage Twitter accounts over on the right side of your screen. You will be taken to a new page with instructions and a very simple form for adding and editing Twitter accounts in the TweetLister system. TweetLister Professional allows you add an unlimited of Twitter accounts.

The top pulldown menu will show all Twitter accounts that you now have in the system. If you select one, you can edit it to change the username and/or password. Or you can delete an account. To add a new account, simply type the username and password in this form at the bottom. Click Add Account, and you will see if your addition is confirmed. TweetLister checks all accounts against the twitter database, so your username and password must be correct. You can continue to add more accounts using this screen.

When you have added your account(s) to TweetLister, you can go over to the right menu and click Add New Listing. At the bottom right of this form, you will see the option labeled Account to Post. Your Twitter accounts will appear in this pulldown menu, and you can select the account where you want this listing to tweet. You can return to Manage Twitter accounts at any time to add and edit your accounts.

Visit TweetLister at http://www.tweetlister.com to get started!

Most agents would agree that if a buyer is viewing their listing online, they’d much rather have that listing surrounded by their own advertisements vs. ads placed by the website, or placed through a third-party provider. TweetLister is one of only a handful of top real estate websites that lets the listing agent place their own advertising on their listings.

By publishing ads from local vendors such as your preferred Mortgage Broker and Home Inspector, you’re not only promoting business for your vendors, but you’re also creating an opportunity to generate revenue. What vendor wouldn’t want to have their ad displayed with local real estate listings? In fact, what vendor wouldn’t pay a few dollars to have their ad appear with your listings? With the ability to post five vendor ads, you can charge even a minimal $2/month to your vendors, and you’ll cover the cost of your monthly subscription to TweetLister. It’s a win-win for everyone!
